Not every bike is meant to go fast all the time. Bikes, such as cruisers, are meant for slowing down and are built for comfort. Harley is known for these type of bikes.
If you're not into cruisers, but not all the way into sport bikes, then a touring bike might be for you. These bikes retain the sport look but are more comfortable than a sport bike. They also lack the power that a sport bike has as well. BMW makes a line a touring bikes.
If you're all about speed, the only way to go is with a sport bike, also known as a crotch rocket.
